Globalization

 

The subject of the following text is globalization and for me this means exchange of cultures between different countries but it is also associated to international trade.

There are many effects of globalization and Portugal is no exception. In terms of culture, Internet helped to expand it and for example, I like watching films and listening to music and Internet allows me to make downloads of films that I want to watch and listen the new music of international singers that I like.

In my country there are some international trades, like McDonald’s and the most part of our population (including me :D ) love  that food because it is tasty and the price is affordable and there are a lot of McDonald’s spread throughout the country and I guess all of international trades help the economy to grow.

About work we can say that globalization helps workers who earn less and emigration is directly connected to it, because people go to other countries to get a better life.

So, we can conclude that globalization change people lives and makes us more aware and informed about other cultures and lifestyles.
